2020 Tipping Tree Grenahce

2020 Tipping Tree Grenahce
Tipping Tree Wines encompasses the journey to showcase the best that California vineyards have to offer. With Robert Lieff’s prestigious work as a pioneer in the early days of the California wine movement he wanted to create a brand that spoke to the versatility of California terroir. He and his wife Susan found that representation in the Santa Ynez Valley when they found a 60-acre property nestled deep in the heart of wine country. With small-level production and quality-focused wines, Tipping Tree Wines strives to do justice to the rich history of the California wine movement. 50% Syrah Alamo Creek Block 2B, 45% Grenache Alamo Creek Block 3A and 5% Grenache Lieff Ranch Block 2B Clone 362 10 months, neutral barrels combination of puncheons (500 liter) and barrique (225 liter) A classic blend of luscious soft Grenache paired with the power and strength of Syrah. This wine, from the cool climate of the Los Olivos District AVA, has high-toned red fruit aromas of strawberry and raspberry accompanied by the black notes of Syrah, full of blueberry, licorice, and game. Rich and powerful its is perfect to drink young with grilled fatty meats but will also age and mellow for three to five years.
